Contact form not working

  • I use Contact Form 7 on my website. It has not been working since at least yesterday (when I was first notified). I use Akismet and have put the recommended Akismet settings into my form (apart from the URL one, as my form does not ask for a URL). Yesterday, I changed the settings in WP Super Cache so that the garbage will have been cleared last night (and daily from now on). But I still get the error message with an orange border, indicating it’s been labeled as spam. Please can you help?

    Thanks for the quick response but I don’t understand what you’re suggesting. I have installed reCAPTCHA and configured it from within Contact Form 7. The text for my contact form is as follows:

    <p>Your Name (required)<br />
    [text* your-name akismet:author] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)<br />
    [email* your-email akismet:author_email] </p>

    <p>Subject<br />
    [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Your Message<br />
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    [recaptcha]

    <p>[submit “Send”]

    As in – I had already installed it some time back, before this problem started happening.
