Managed to sort out the email problem by speaking to my web host.

The plugin is still not pulling through the contact form information into Salesforce though?

All done, information was going to my profile rather than being displayed directly in Leads tab.

    Shaun,

Glad you figured it out. The email issue a common one when you have an external mail server.

Solution #1: Make sure the MX records on your server are set to the external mail server, any local MX records are removed (unless your server is a backup mail server) and mail delivery is set to external, not local. And/or use an SMTP plugin to route mail from WordPress through your external mail server.

Can you share the reason/solution behind the second issue, in case someone else end up here looking for the same thing?

    Hi Nick,

For the second one the leads coming from the contact form are still not being fed into the Leads section within Salesforce which is what I thought would happen, instead they are being fed into “my profile” tab within Salesforce for me to view there.

    Hope this helps.

That’s very odd… they show up fine in the leads section on my dev account.

Keep in mind that you may need to change the view on your leads screen to today’s leads or something date based — the default view does not always show the latest leads.

What’s the section they show up in on your “My Profile” screen?

Just did a test. Trust me, those leads are in your leads area (the web to lead service cannot write data anywhere else) — you just need to find them in the pile of other leads ??

The notification on “my profile” is just a log that a new lead was added and assigned the default owner.

Setting up a lead source for your forms would allow you to filter by source to see all leads generated by your website.
