Contact Form – Need to change "Required"

Worked it out… went to the jetpack / modules / contact-form / grunion-contact-form.php in the plugin editor and searched for '<span>' . __( "(required)", and replaced the (required) with the text of my choice.

This, of course, has the disadvantage of possibly being overwritten during updates.

Instead of editing the plugin files, I’d suggest following the instructions here to propose a translation for that string:
