    Hi there,

I had an issue with my contact form (built using the DIVI builder) where emails submitted through there did not arrive anywhere. I followed some instructions which involved installing WP Mail STMP to try and resolve this. I chose to set this up using Gmail, as my e-mail account is powered by google workspace.

I now receive e-mails that are sent via the form, but regardless of the sender, they always land in my inbox as having come from MY e-mail address. There is no indication as to who the e-mail came from.

Any ideas what might cause this?

    Hi @veroniquef,

Thanks for reaching out. The purpose of the WP Mail SMTP plugin is to deliver your website’s email notifications correctly to your recipients, through your configured mailer (in your case, Gmail). In simple terms, it will be very similar to login into your email account and sending an email. In this way, you will have a better chance of delivering your emails to the recipients without getting them flagged as SPAM.

Technically, all of your website emails sent with the WordPress default wp_mail() function, will be routed through your WP Mail SMTP configured mailer.

Within the Divi theme contact module, you have the ability to configure their email notification to display the user-submitted data according to your preference. Could you please follow their guide here and set up your form notifications accordingly.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi @veroniquef,
