Contact Form hang

Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all other plugins.

I have a similar problem. When I press the “Invia” (Send) button, the rotating spinner does not stop unless I reload the page. However, in my case, the email is sent correctly.

have the same issue. Have this issue after a php server update to 7.0.

Mail is send correctly but due to missing the confirmation that the form is send successfull people are pushing the send button again and again.

Switch to another theme and deactivating other plugins did not help.

I found the issue, with deactivating the plugin: Affiliates Contact Form 7 Integration everything works well agian. So now looking to solve the issue with this plugin.

I don’u use the Affiliates Contact Form 7 plugin, so maybe it is something else.

I ran into this too, it seems that some paths have changed and forms created with older versions stopped working because of that (I saw some 404 “file not found” errors in the Apache error log).

I was able to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and creating new forms (note that it did not work with the default contact form after reinstalling, I had to delete that and create a fresh one.)

Unfortunately on my site it is a new installation and a new form. ??

In the meantime I have also installed another forms plugin (Caldera Forms) and it works like a charm, so it is neither a problem related to the mail system (smtp, things like that).
However, I would still prefer to use Contact Form 7, it is clearly much better and easier to use than Caldera Forms (and the plugin is also traslated very well).
