Contact form error

    Hello,

    First of all I want to say, Contact Form 7 is the best plugin I’ve ever used. Really. I use this plugin on the most sites I make. And it will work always.

    Except at one website. And it’s weird, because I’ve made this website and used de contactform. Everything went fine, but I had to duplicate the website, because I needed it. So, now you have website1.com and the twin-website with an other name, website2.com.

    The contact form at website2.com works fine. Nothing wrong.

    But, the contact form at website1.com don’t work anymore. If I push the send button, there will show a error message. “Can’t sent the e-mail. Try to contact a different way”.

    I used other e-mailadresses, spelled the e-mailadresses right, can’t be spam, because it wont send the mail anyway.

    What can it be? I hope somebody will help me. ??

    Update:
    I checked also all the plugins, but that is not the problem. Also the theme is not the problem, because I used the same theme on the other website.

    Has anyone had the same issue as I have?

    Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.

    See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. There is a link at the bottom of the page to a comprehensive and detailed article which covers many issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

    Thanks for your reaction. I’ve read this part already on that page and I’ve read the issues, but non of them solved my problem. It worked fine first, but later it didn’t.

    Please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface.

    I am having the same problem. All of a sudden, Contact Form 7 is not working on one of my websites. I have two websites with the same theme and contact form 7. One works and the other doesn’t.

    I contacted the host, but they said there are no issues with the server.

    Oke It is solved.

    If you have also a problem, check this:
    Go to your FTP en look for the next file:
    Wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php

    Open this file en look for this code:
    /**
    * The Sender email (Return-Path) of the message.
    * If not empty, will be sent via -f to sendmail or as ‘MAIL FROM’ in smtp mode.
    * @type string
    */
    public $Sender = ‘PUT HERE THE EMAILADRES U USE’;

    Upload it again and check if the form is working. If not, dubble check the file again, because it had put some strange characters around the adres instead of the quotes.

    Big chance it will solve your problem.

    I do believe it is solved. I am now getting emails from the contact forms. Thank you so much for your help.
