Contact Form emails spacing issue

  • I am having a wordpress website; and its having a contact form 7 installed; the issue is; when we are filling the form and get an email.

    There is an extra space added in top of that; attached screenshot as well.

    and the reason is this extra p and br tag added in email.

    I have also added define( ‘WPCF7_AUTOP’, false ); in wp-config.php file; but it only affect in front end form; it is not affecting the mail recieved; there is still extra p and br tags there.

    Please help with this issue ASAP.

    Which version of WordPress and which version of the Contact Form 7 plugin do you use on the site?

    WordPress Version – 6.4.2

    Current Contact form 7 – 5.6

    and I have even tried the latest one 5.8.4 but its having the same issue.

    Why do you use such an outdated version?

    As I mentioned that the issue is same with newer and older both versions; I have kept older one because I was facing spacing issue in email; but i found that even if using contact form ?5.8.4 or Contact form 7 – 5.6. The issue is same. So please help me out from this.

    Kindly help me with this issue ASAP; as this needs to be fixed ASAP.

    And as I mentioned; the issue is same in new and old version of contact form 7; kindly help me to figure out the issue.

    You can check the code part as well; there is extra p and br tag added.

    so either let me know the solution or please help with where I can make edits in mail code for contact form 7; so that before mail I can try to trim extra p and br tag from there.

    any kind of help on this will be appreciated.

    Hello; Is there anyone who can help me on this? If you can let me know the code from where the mails are sending; I can try to add filter over there which can trim extra tags; please help on this on urgent basis.

    Anyone is there; who can help me on this? Now the contact form 7 is also in latest version; but the issue still the same.
