    Hello there,

    Today two people tried to send me a contact request via my site – Contact Form by Supsystic. I received an e-mail from Cleantalk saying that two contact requests had been made and approved but I never actually received the messages. They were in and accessible from my dashboard though. I have tried to sending a request myself from the same form and it worked no problem and came straight through to my inbox.

    Grateful for any assistance please.

    Hello, Jim.

    Thank you for your request.

    When you see allowed message in your Log but not in your backend, that means that the visitors didn’t fill all required fields and pressed Submit button.

    Here what happens:
    1. The visitor types a comment, enters his name, but doesn’t fill “E-mail” field for example.
    2. He presses Submit, the CleanTalk plugin checks the message, allows it and makes a record in your Anti-Spam Log.
    3. Then the user gets an error that his message couldn’t be sent as the field “E-mail” is empty.

    As the result you have it in your Log, but in your backend you got no new comments.

    This behaviour is intended. It made so to see all visitors’ activity. Please, click the line “Details” in your Anti-Spam Log to see all additional data for any comment:

    Many thanks for the reply.

    The form as I was using wouldn’t allow the user to send a response without all the fields being filled in.
    I found that if I was logged into WP then I could send a response and it would come through to the back end. If I wasn’t then it would go to the Log only.

    I’ve since changed to the Formidable Forms plug in and all seems to be OK now.
