• Hello,

    I’ve been using the contact form for a while and now I had to have API integration with contact form but the thing is, in the 5.5.2 version, the data you input saves upon clicking the “save” button but on the latest plugin version, it says “saved” but everything is empty. What’s up with that?

    Example JSON data I want to add and use:

    {
    “first_name”: “”,
    “last_name”: “”,
    “email”: “”,
    “phone_mobile”: “”,
    “company_name”: “”,
    “website”: “”,
    “country_code”: “”
    }
    In the 5.5.2 version, once you click the “save” button, it adds “/” slashes everywhere.

    Currently, my example data looks like a mess after clicking the “save” button 4 times, every time it duplicated slashes.

    {
    \\\\\\\”first_name\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”: \\\\\\”[firstname]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”,
    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”last_name\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”[LastName]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”,
    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”email\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”[email]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”,
    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”phone_mobile\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”[Phone]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”,
    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”company_name\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”[Company]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”,
    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”website\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”[Website]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\”
    }
    Please help. I can’t use the latest plugin version due to it not saving the data I add an older version is full of mess. Is there an alternative plugin to the contact form or this is, the peak of this plugin, destroyed and useless for API integration?

    NB: My latest topic got resolved but this issue wasn’t solved, tf?

    Fixed the backslashes with some random PHP code I found online that someone figured out. I am getting this error now after trying to submit the POST request

    POST https://xxxx.com/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/127/feedback 500

    What’s wrong with CF7?

    Nvm, it’s probably a server-sided fault because it’s giving an internal server 500 error…

    Seems like plugin author doesn’t care either, fk it. Useless plugin.
