Contact form 7 works but now very slow

    The contact form 7 with this disable rest api plugin works it sends and gives the successful message but it takes over 60 seconds to send the emails, when I disable the plugin it send the emails in less than 2 seconds, is there any setting where we can improve the performance, or this is just how it works, it really makes it way to slow to submit?

    Hi @sadesades Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Have you tried enabling wp_debug to see if you’re getting any errors or warnings on your site? What rules do you have defined in your admin area, is this just allowing all users to access the CF7 endpoints or do you have a number of other user roles defined? The permissions check should be imperceptible to speed of accessing endpoints and I haven’t heard any reports similar to yours before, but I’m happy to take a look if you can provide me with any additional details.     I did enable the wp_debug, it might have been something with the server or my ISP it started working ok now thank you

    Can I ask in this same topic or should I open a new one is there function or hook to change the {“code”:”rest_cannot_access”,”message”:”DRA: Only authenticated users can access the REST API.”,”data”:{“status”:401}} to something else?
