Contact Form 7 with pipes not working

Hey,

So, I’m having problems getting piping to work. If I put our company email address in the To field it works fine, but when i try to pipe it does not send the email.

Below is the shortcode (I edited out the email information due to privacy concerns):

[select* menu-794 include_blank "Sales|[email protected]" "Info|[email protected]" "Support|[email protected]" "Billing|[email protected]"]

This is what I put in the To field:
[menu-794]

What can I do to get pipe to work? I find it strange that if I put the email address in the To field it works but when I put the shortcode with piping it does not.
