Contact Form 7 Will not activate or display

    Contact Form 7 will not activate or display forms on my website. Can someone help me understand why? See steps taken by my host below:

    For some reason the website refuses to activate the contact form 7 plugin.

    I tried to deactivate all other plugins and set you to the default theme but the issue persists

    After that, I tried to reinstall the plugin but again the website is not activating it:

    I tested with php.ini and the .htaccess also disabled and again it made no difference.

    I can recommend you to consult with a web developer or with the support of contact form 7 or to test with another contact plugin.

    If there are other questions or issues you can submit a new ticket at any time.

    Why don’t you just try activating it in a usual way?

    I have! The plugin will not activate on the site at all. When I enter a shortcode, only the shortcode displays:

    https://www.brianpasko.com/36378-2/

    I have tried this with the native theme and with all other plugins installed. It is not a theme or plugin conflict.

    The Contact Form 7 simply will not activate even though it is installed and wordpress is reporting the plugin as activated. It does not work.

    I am happy to provide WP credentials for you to see yourself if there is a secure way to do this.

    If you are saying about these shortcode-like things they have nothing to do with Contact Form 7.

    My host support solved the problem. This may help others:

    I tried to activate the plugin and the following error was recorded:
    Code:
    [26-Dec-2019 11:18:25 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_HOST in /home/brianpasko/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/plugin-logic-rules.php on line 22

    That gave me an idea that I didn’t try before.

    I renamed mu-plugins to mu-plugins1 and activated the plugin successfully now.

    contact-form 7 is now successfully activated.

    If there are other questions or issues you can submit a new ticket at any time.
