Contact Form 7 Version 5.7 adds extra space between input fields.

I temporarily solved with the following code in the functions.php file in my theme:

    if ($tag === 'contact-form-7') $output = str_replace( '<p><br />', '<p>', $output );

How do I rollback to 5.6 to get our forms back to the way they were without the additional spaces between fields?

Same issue on our site. Rolled-back for the time being.

Version 5.7.1 did not solve the problem.
When are you going to take this problem seriously?
