Contact Form 7 send problem

Hi,

I know there are many posts solving this issue but none of the solutions have worked for me. When ever I successfully submit an email through Contact Form 7 nothing happens. I still receive the email but nothing appears on the contact page to notify the user that the email has been sent. This has resulted in users submitting their emails up to 20 times as they do not know if it has been successful.

I think the error might be caused by the awful theme that my client purchased and insisted we use although I am not 100% sure on that. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this issue. I don’t care if the solution involves displaying a thank you message or redirecting to a thank you page. I just want the users of the site to be notified when an email is sent.
