• Thank you very much for the plugin.

I’ve run into some issues though, and I’ve tried to find answers through the support forums, contactform7.com, and google.com, but still can’t solve it. I invited a few friends to test the form and they had the same problem as me. The specific performance is that sometimes it can be submitted, sometimes it cannot be submitted (an orange warning appears), and most of the time it cannot be submitted. I checked reCAPTCHA’s control panel and there is no junk traffic.

I also found that when the execution time of contact-form-7/includes/js/index.js is > 3900ms when submitting the form, then it will give an orange warning. If the execution time of index.js is < 2500ms, the form can be submitted.

One more thing, when I look at contact-form-7/includes/js/index.js in Edge, Edge shows a red warning

“An attacker may try to trick you into performing dangerous actions, such as installing software or revealing your personal information (such as passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards).”

In firefox, there are no danger alerts.

    Thanks again.

  • Hello,
    Also having similiar issue.
reCaptcha codes are entered correctly and Contact7 is up to date but contact form is having issues if captcha keys are integrated.
Have had to remove them until problem resolved.

Yes. If you add reCaptcha, there is no problem with using version 5.3.2.

I’m having similar issues on 2 different client websites.

On one of them, I tried disabling Recaptcha 3 and the problem persists. The client for one of the websites has reported back from my tests that the form is at lest sometimes submitting, but not outputting the result message like it should, and is instead outputting either nothing at all, or an infinite loading loop icon.

I’m still waiting on more info from my clients but so far it appears to be tracking to the last update (installed on Aug 10 on both websites where I’ve found this problem). It’s likely an issue with CF7 and not related to Recaptcha.
