Contact Form 7 is blocked from submitting (spinning)

    I noticed on a site that Contact Form 7 is blocked from submitting (spinning) when WP ASE is activated. When I deactivate WP ASE, the form is submitted.

    I’m not sure if this is a setting in WP ASE. I hope you can help me.

    It maybe because you have “Disable Components >> Disable REST API” turned on? I think CF7 requires the REST API to be enabled on the frontend.

    I have the same issue. It is Disable REST API

    I used to Disable REST API using functions.PHP and I did not have this problem before

    should i add the code lines back into therere

    Yes, please copy the PHP code you use here that disables REST API without causing issues with CF7.

    Yes, enabling the REST API in WP ASE made the form work again.

    I have no idea why this happened suddenly. Contact Form 7 has been unreliable concerning these things the last years.
