contact form 7 has moved position since last update

  • hi
    since updating contact form 7 yesterday, all is well accept the fact that my form has moved horizontally to the right by about 300 pixels. its the same in both IE and FF.

    everything else on the page is how it should be, everything is positioned correctly, its just the form. anyone able to help?

    Then why can’t I? I’ve just compared the sidebar layout of the “Who is HH?” page with that of the “Articles” page in both FF and IE8. And the positioning of the grey “sidebar” seems identical and rock solid in both pages in both browsers.

    Am I missing something?

    u spoke too late guys, ive sorted it – heres what i did:

    1) changed #content to 450px
    2) changed .post-content to 550px (thanks to alaetra!)
    2) changed .post_page to 550px
    3) changed #content-page to 500px

    its done, im so grateful to u peeps, this new sidebar has eliminated 40 validation errors, given me the space EXACTLY how i had it before, got rid of huge amounts of excess code (now i only copy the content markup, a snippet compared to all the CSS and divs i had before, mainly mal-practice) amongst other things

    esmi and rvoodoo thank u so so much, i WILL stay in touch, im on here on a daily basis recently! ??

    PS: i feel i have to add this at the end of this thread, after all ‘the title IS called ‘contact form 7 has moved since last update’

    amongst all the CSS editing with the new sidebar etc, more likely in the last steps above, the contact form just ‘slotted itself in’ nicely where it should be, an ADDED bonus, it seemed lol and i seriously cant explain which part of the CSS was responsible.
