Contact Form 7 – Dynamic Text Extension – Conflicting With Akismet – Failed

    I have troubleshot many options and what I am seeing is that if I remove the Dynamic Text Extension shortcodes, the form submits, if I remove the Akismet validation or deactiviate its plugin, the form submits. I have disabled caching and tried many other options but cannot solve it without removing one or the other from the form. Is there a way to get both of them to play nicely together?

    Hi ewsrobert,

    Sorry I’m not an Akismet user, though I’ve never heard any issues reported. Maybe you need to tell Akismet to ignore your dynamic field somehow if it’s picking it up as being spam? I expect it’d be an attribute added to the form input
