Contact Form 7 dynamic submission count on contact form page

Hello,

I’m using Contact Form 7 (CF7) as an online petition. I’m using Flamingo as well as the MailChimp integration plugin for CF7.

What I would like to do is have a dynamic counter on the petition page that updates depending on the number of successful form submissions. I’ve spent a couple of hours looking for a solution and the only ones I could find were either obsolete or for the backend.

I want visitors to see right next to the petition (contact) form how many signatures we’ve collected.

I imagine this is a fairly simple task, but my coding know-how is (very) limited.

Any suggestions on the easiest way to go about doing this?
