Contact form 7 and popup maker issue

    I create a contact form using contact form 7 and add that form in popup make. But the pop up window will not close after successful submission of contact form 7. It just clears the form and stays open. I’ve watched a ton of youtube videos. I’ve read help files. I’ve followed every step they tell me to do. It should work. But it doesn’t!
    Ideally, I would like a second popup to appear after the successful submission of Contact Form 7 that says Thank You. I do not want to send the visitor to a “thank you” page because I want them to remain on my home page. Then I would like that “thank you” pop up to close automatically after 3-4 seconds.
    I am using chrome, but have tried it on other browsers without luck.

  • Hi, I’ve created a Contact Form 7 and added it to pop up maker. I’ve set up Click to launch. When I copy the contact form code to the page I want it on it shows me the full contact form

    How do I get the Popup box to open the contact form?

    I am also having an issue with popup maker not closing the popup after form submission using Contact Form 7. No conflicts from JS or other plugins. Looks like this is an issue with not just Contact Form 7 from the rest of the forum posts. I have contacted their support team directly. I have tried reverting to CF7 5.19 issue persists.

    This is a recent issue with Popup Maker 5.2. Hopefully, they will fix it in the next release. In the meantime 5.1.19 still works properly with CF7.

    @hmmclark Popup maker is only at Version 1.11.0. It is CF7 that is at version 5.2. Do you mean I should roll back Popup maker to 1.10.2?

    I meant to roll back to CF7 to the previous version.

    The popup maker works perfectly but the pop up window will not close after successful submission of contact form 7.

    Thanks for reporting this issue. CF7 version 5.2 made some changes to how it sent out events for other plugins to use. We have just released Popup Maker v1.11.1 which should resolve this issue for you.

    Found the solution, I had a function that didn’t detect CF7 as it is in a popup and unloaded the CF7 scripts. Removed the function, and it works.
