Contact Form 7

I have Contact Form 7 installed into my site and it still wont work. I need help troubleshooting and fixing it so that I can get it working.

I have xamp as my server. I have wordpress installed corectly.
I have Contact Form 7 installed to my wordpress site.

I have tryed changing my e-mail that I am using with Contact Form 7 to try to get it to send an e-mail to any of my e-mail addresses and it wont send. Every time I try to send an e-mail it tells me “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”
