  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    did all of the above suggestions.
    didn’t work unfortunately.
    i also upgraded the contact form 7 Version 2.1.2

    what to do next?

    yes,

    but i just tested it at my home pc, and it works fine. perhaps it’s a firewall issue. i am gonna retry at the office tomorrow.

    Ah – it’s not uncommon for corporate-type networks to strip out javascript which might explain why there’s a problem with your work PC.
