Checking server logs may provide some clues.

We do not have access to any server logs. Any other ideas?

I have the same problem and reloaded a backup of version 3.3.2 and it began working normally again.

I’m using latest 3.3.3 version. In the contact form when I use a gmail account in the email field as “mymailtest at gmail.com” the mail never reachs my inbox neither the spam folder. If I use another account as “test at ajfdhkjh.com” it works fine. Could be there some bug when using gmail domains in email field?

    Thanks.

Also have the same problem with spinning – customer never gets the page saying it’s been sent… so they keep hitting “send” over and over.. form is sent multiple times. Issue started once I updated to WordPress 3.5.1 Worked fine before that.
I turned off all other plugins and still didn’t work. I’ve been reading this has been an issue for a while but not addressed. Does anyone have a suggestion for a fix or even a different Contact plugin? I’m at my wits end!

Same here. Spinning arrow. But no email being sent.

Same here! Spinning arrow for ages and no confirmation, but the email does send.

    Same here.

Same here, could we please get this fixed or an update on when it will be working again? Thanks.

I test gmail and some Korean Portal Site (hanmail.net)..

    Downgrade does not matter.
Write form ‘[email protected]’ or blank in ‘From’ part.
Not shortcode like [participant] or normal text.

im having the same trouble – updated to wordpress 3.5.1 and the contact form 3.3.3 that has been working perfectly for some time stopped working correctly. the spinning arrows after pressing submit never resolve to a message of success or failure

made simple test if you need to see :https://psycare.info/519-2/

This looks very much like the problem I’m wrestling with. I’m busy with developing a WordPress website and I have two test servers with WP 3.5 installed, one with a Dutch version and one with an English version. On the Dutch version I installed Contact Form 7 and WP-Mail-SMTP. On pressing the Submit button I receive the e-mails at the specified addresses. When I press the Submit button on the English version, I see the spinning arrows, going around and around for ever. I haven’t the faintest idea what could be wrong. The Dutch version has been installed with a localhost in a Windows 7 system. The English version is running in a Linux server. I have verified the settings of the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and I can successfully submit test mails via the plugin settings panel. I also tested after the installation of the WP SMTP plugin. The results were the same. On the plugin settings panel I was able to submit mails. On the webpage with the Contact Form: endlessly spinning arrows again.
I have the feeling that it looks like something missing in the communication between the two plugins. But I don’t know if it has something to do with the usage of PHP running under Linux or a difference between the Dutch and English language versions of the plugins.

I just installed a Dutch version of WordPress on my Linux Apache server and also installed the new version 3.4 of Contact Form 7. The Contact Form is still not working.
