• I upgraded my WP to 3.0 and found that after that, my Contact Form 7 failed to work. The code that should be on the red box is missing, hence there’s nothing to copy-paste. If I however, try to copy-paste the default shortcode, I get a 404 error of some sort.

I am puzzled by this because I have Contact form 7 on two of my hosted WordPress sites and the Contact form 7 works on them perfectly. Could there be a problem with my installation or a PHP coding error of some sort? What do you think about an AJAX issue?

If you have had problems like this and were able to resolve it, please let me know how you did it. Right now, I have no recourse but to use a Javascript-based form called Kontactr. I really want Contact Form 7 because of the options but I need this plugin issue resolved.

Please help. Thank you very very much!

  • It works on my side, but I’ve heard similar issues from a few users. So far, I have no clue, too. So I’d like you to help by testing.

At first, what will happen if you disable all other plugins and switch to the default theme?
