contact directly to a wordpress user

  • Hi,

    Is there a way for the public to contact a wordpress user directly? either have the message sent to the user’s email address or somehow show up internally in WordPress.

    Is that messaging to email possible in WordPress or would that require a plugin?

    Well, if the user has comments enabled, that’s indeed one form of contact. There are also contact form plugins which could be used to provide a more centralized and less public form of contact.

    If the user doesn’t have an obvious method of contact, then they can’t be contacted.
