Both of you need to contact your hosting providers and ask them if your SMTP is properly set up. No contact form/theme/plugin will be able to send you mails without it.

I had the same problem, actually with yahoo account. An you can’t really talk to yahoo about it ?? It works fine with gmail.

I think that Yahoo blocks the SMTP server of your hosting provider, it has nothing to do with our theme. Did you Check the Spam folder too?

Spam folder is empty, but I also belive that yahoo is to blame… It is strange that this plugin uses a solution that needs smtp setup in this way, it could also be done in another way.

I’ll investigate this too, if it’s an issue on our side we’ll surely get it fixed ??

Are you sure they are not being sent? Or are they not being received?

I have the same problem as above concern, Im using a Zerif Lite Child theme, I have indicated my email address in customize>general options as well as in “contact us”.

My SMTP are working correctly via accessing thru webmail and mail client. Tried to send thru “contact us” and the page will post that the request to send was successful. However, waiting for almost 3hrs, I havent receive anything from the test I did.

Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Anyone who has a solution to this Zerif Lite contact us feature?

@psybuck01, this theme has a small issue which prevents it from working reliably with WP SMTP.

in theme general option contact us option what do u mean by site key and secret key

Is there a way to integrate a mailing list opt in to the ‘contact us’ boxes? It would be nice to build a mailing list from this form.
