“Contact” Admin Menu ocnflict with various Content block (resolved, but not!!)

Well, I thought this was resolved, in the sense that the problem was with a different plugin, but I am beginning to think it really is a cf7 problem.
The original problem was that the “Contact” admin menu would disappear when I installed Content Blocks by Loomisoft. But it turns out that installing 2 other content block plugins also have the same effect (i.e. Reusable Text Blocks By Hal Gatewood, or Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget) By Johan van der Wijk) also have the same effect. (The Blocks plugin by Renzo Johnson seems to work, but it is not entirely trustworthy as a plugin as support is problematic.) This makes me think it might be more general problem, so I am wondering if there might be some clues as to why all three of these similar plugins break cf7 (and no other plugin)?

I have contacted Reusable Content by Loomisoft and they helped me identify that it appears that there is a 3 way whack a mole going on between cf7, loomisoft and profile grid. In pairs they work with each other, but all three together break cf7 admin menu. Loomisoft is suggesting it may be a problem with a custom post type and also specifying “menu_position”. Still waiting to hear from profile grid.
