Contact 7 Form Basics?

  • Hello,

    I am sorry to take up your time for something basic. I have installed the Contact 7 Form and it displays and seems to be working fine with regard to sending me the email generated. However, the email I receive has simply [your message]

    I am assuming I’m missing an integral step in what the form configuration should be in the email section?? Please help!

    I get this same message. how did you fix it?

    Make sure that it has a dash – between your and message. It should look like this:

    [your-message]

    Also you will have to make sure that the message area (where the content is going for the email) is called “message” if this isnt what its called then it cant copy the information that they send. What it does is it will copy what “message” has written in it.

    If your main content where they write in it is called “content” then it will have to look like this:

    [your-content]
