I am using the Date tag in Contact 7.

Date
    [date* date-format:dd_mm_yy date-182]

This works fine from a mobile device, but from a desktop I dont seem to be able to get the right date format. I get ‘Validation errors occurred. Please confirm the fields and submit it again’ with a yellow border but no fields are highlighted as in error.

What format should be input from a desktop ?

    If I use
Date
    [date* date-182]

instead then the date field shows up as invalid via the desktop but I cant find a valid date format to enter.
From a mobile device it works but the date is not displayed in the resultant email, just the name of the date field (date-182)

i’m using dd/mm/yyyy with date picker.

works fine on pc, no datepicker on mobile device.

    any help is appreciated! thanks.

still no further forward with this.

does anyone have any idea how to change the display of a date field in the email from yyyy/mm/dd to dd/mm/yyyy?

    thanks!

solved using the CF7 datepicker plugin.

The Datepicker is not a great interface on a mobile, works great for desktop.

But why doesnt the contact 7 date work on desktop ? Its great on mobile.

Date format seems invalid is the message irrespective of what I put in.

Hurrah found the answer on a similar post, posted minutes ago.

    Date format should be YYYY-MM-DD (e.g. 2013-04-18).
