• Hi!

So I am building my site locally using MAMP and I was editing the site in Coda and my site disappeared in my browser. I don’t know if it was a change I made in the php (MAMP is working, I tested it with an html file). Since I am unable to access anything administrative panel I am at a loss.

    Thank you,
    Julia

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes.

    resetting the plugins folder.

    Hi Esmi,

Thanks for getting back to me. I renamed my current theme’s folder and emptied the plug-ins folder. It’s still not working. When I save content outside the wp-content folder, I can load it. It seems that suddenly everything inside the wp-content folder just stopped being visible on MAMP. I’m flabbergasted!

This is the message I’m getting when I try to upload files in Coda

Could not connect to server “localhost”.

Sounds like MAMP isn’t working properly.
