• Greetings my fellas!

I hope you forgive me, because I didn’t find nothing related to this subject on codex. I would like to know if there is some way of constructing my own contact form without using plugins. Then I could customize my own fields with CSS, and validate it. After that I would like to use JQUERY for advising the users by a modal window (your email has been sent, or contrary). I was used to do it using XHTML, PHP and JQUERY.

I made this question because I don’t know if it is worth installing plugins for such a thing you can do manually. it could harm the performance. Or maybe there is already a plugin that do everything I listed above?

    Thanks for all!

  • I would say why do all that extra work when there are great contact form plugins out there? Personally, I use WP User FrontEnd which creates forms and you can use one as a contact form.

Or use Fast Secure Contact Form or even Contact Form 7 plugin. Good luck!

    mike
