Between four sites that I have setup with this plugin, I have received 40 “WordPress 5.0.3 is available. Please update!” messages in the past four days (so 2 emails per site each day, and those both arrive at the same time for some reason).

I’m not sure if something changed in the plugin (which is awesome otherwise!), but this behavior is a problem. I’m happy to receive *one* email about such updates, but not repeated emails. I’m not finding a setting to control that, though. Is there something that I’m missing?

  • Thanks for your feedback! ??

The emails sent out are from WordPress, so there must be something up with your installation. I would advise to turn off email notifications and see if that helps? Our developer informs me EUM doesn’t have any input in sending these emails.

Ah, interesting, and also very strange – it’s only the sites that happen to have your plugin (of several dozen that I manage) that have this problem. But it’s also true that those particular sites have several other plugins in common, so perhaps one of those is conflicting with the WP core and causing the constant emails. I’ll just turn off email notifications, I guess.
