Hi, The reCAPTCHA container is too wide for the sidebar and hangs over the edge. I’ve tried to correct this with css, but need help to make it fit properly.

    Thank you!

Not sure there’s going to be much we can do with that, to be honest. Majority of it all is coming in with what Google renders, and it looks like it is forcing itself to be 304px wide. Meanwhile the sidebar area for your layout is maxing out at 193px or so.

Definitely not necessarily an easy decision to make given that layouts could drastically change among many pages, if decided to leave in the sidebar. Otherwise something like the footer area is often a popular spot for this type of thing, which may work out a bit better.

So there’s not a “compact” recaptcha? I prefer to have the sign up form on the sidebar.

Acknowledging that we do see that option, but it is not one we have a way to set or include in the current version of the plugin.

That said though, we also have new changes coming down the pipeline soon that we can get some support added somehow to specify this size preference, so I will get that added to our notes to include. Hopefully these changes will be getting released in the near future.

That will be helpful. Can you notify me when the updates are complete?

For notification, just keep an eye on your WP updates panel for a new update for the plugin.

If you really want/need the compact version now, we can point you to the correct spot to edit temporarily, even if it probably won’t be implemented the same way within the official release.

We’d need to revisit at that time for a more permanent version in conjunction with the release.

I can wait for the new release. For the time being, I am using the form code instead of the plugin.

    Thank you for your help.

Sounds good, and thanks for the feedback on how we can improve the plugin. It’s appreciated.
