Constant Contact and CF7 Integration: Re-submitting Emails to Constant Contact

  • Hello, I am a web developer for srcllp.com running on WordPress 6.3.2 where they have a newsletter sign-up form in the footer using Contact Forms 7 integrated with their Constant Contact (v5.8.4). As some other users have pointed out, CF7’s integration with CC has an issue where it can only register an email address once. Should that subscriber be un-subscribed and/or deleted from Constant Contact, they cannot re-subscribe using the sign-up form. I tested this and can confirm it cannot add addresses I have already subscribed with.

    I’d like to ask is there any on-going considerations to update the integration between CF7 and CC so it is able to check if an email address is un-subscribed, and then re-subscribe it? I could have swear this was working before before our website, up until November 29.
