    Hi Larry. I am having issues with mobile version. FB chatbot not showing. Cleared cache. Done all that. But console shows following error

    211766008850039.js:1 MobileMonkey Warning ??: Customer Chat Widget may not load correctly. The Facebook SDK installed on this page is referencing an outdated URL that does not support the required Customer Chat SDK. Please update this element to the correct URL: <script async src=?”https:?/?/?connect.facebook.net/?en_US/?fbevents.js”>?</script>?

    I added the chatbot code to the head of my site.

    Are you able to take a look?

    Update. the FB chatbot is not showing in MS Edge or chrome incognito…

    The chat widget is not shown because of another script that connecting to the same Facebook sdk but an older version, see

    Try to replace MobileMonkey script (line 91 in the source code) above that WooCommerce script line 84.
    It should make the chat widget load though the warning still will be thrown in the console.

    Let me know if that worked for you

    Hi

    I disabled the offending facebook-woocommerce plugin.(which is authored by facebook by the way)

    Chatbot still NOT working on mobile and MS Edge. https://www.birite.com.au

    I appreciate your advice.

    The reason seems to be the page itself, when I open the page on Facebook it is not available.
    It may mean:
    1. Page has country/age restrictions
    2. Page is unpublished
    3. Page is banned by Facebook
    You need to make the page available in order to see the chat widget plugin on the website.

    Hi Inga

    I removed the country restriction which solved the issue.

    But we have country restrictions for a reason. It would be great if you could update the widget so that it is independent of country restrictions. Its kind of a deal breaker.

    Country/age restrictions that affect the chat widget visibility comes from Facebook:

    “Pages Using Age/Country Restrictions
    If your Page has age or country restrictions set in Page settings, the customer chat plugin will not render for users who are not logged into their Facebook account when they visit your website.”
