The last part after /* ---------------------------------------- */ should not be there.

yes, that’s the problem. My theme is not detecting the plugin

yes I installed and activated it but wordpress does not detect it. This is exactly what I’m trying to convey. Could you please review the error message I shared first?

I have. The error says that in order for the script to run, you need to have “Page scroll to id” activated. You cannot use the custom script without the plugin working.

Do you get an error when activating the plugin? Do you use multisite? Does your theme have the wp_footer() function?
