Considering premium but have two questions…
-
This was originally a review but is being Mod’d for some reason…
I installed the free version of this plugin last night and am very happy with it so far. I’ve tried a number of similar solutions over the years (WP and from scratch code) and so appreciate the quality of your offering!
I’m seriously considering purchasing the premium version of this plugin (something I rarely do), but have two questions, which I hope the developer will see here to answer…incidentally, an email address on your website would be appreciated, much preferred to live chat in my case!
Questions:
1. My site uses the free version of WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce.
a) If a (discounted) bundle is added to the cart, the bundle and its individual components display their non-discounted prices at standard price. Is this something that would occur in the paid version too? It’s obviously less-than-ideal, but I do realise you can’t be 100%-compatible with everything out there.
b) More worryingly, your cart also allows one or more of a bundle’s components to be removed separately, allowing customers to game the store and get the same discount on the components remaining in the cart. Do you have any advice on resolving this? I really like your plugin but can’t afford to have this kind of issue!2. Currently, I have a function which automatically adds a (hidden) product to the user’s cart when they’re logged in and a minimum order value is met. This is achieved via hooking into the cart. As this product does not display in your cart, is it something which could be achieved easily? Otherwise users who only look at your cart (rather than the default) before ordering won’t realise they have a freebie!
I realise these are quite specific use cases, but your thoughts would be appreciated so that I can make the right decision regarding the premium plugin!
?? Cheers…
