The 1.8 changelog indicates: Corrects URL matching so exact match required.

If you have a site with hundreds of redirects, what consequences would updating to 1.8 have? Are there URLS that would have redirected correctly which would stop working because exact match was not previously required?

Can you give an example of what specifically now needs to be exact that didn’t used to need to be exact?

Hi scottmmkky! This was a bug that affected URLs that ended with a “0”. For example if the URL was “/example0”, it would match a redirect rule for “/example”. ie. if you had a redirect rule that redirected “/example” to “/abc”, when the user goes to the URL “/example0” it would also redirect to “/abc”.
