Hello and sorry to bother you once more,

on my testsite I have just updated from v 7.0.4 to v 7.0.5, and I have done my usual set of test cases with complianz. I have a Brevo sign-up form which should be loaded only after consent to marketing cookies, i.e. it is embedded in consent shortcode wrapper. In my configuration I have checked the “obey DO NOT TRACK and global privacy control”.

In the case where browser configuration has the “DO NOT TRACK” option set and third party cookies are not allowed, this should skip the appearance of the cookie banner and be treated as if the user has allowed only essential cookies, i.e. the form should NOT be loaded initially. BUT: cookie banner is skipped and THE FORM IS LOADED WTHOUT CONSENT!

My Live site is still working on complianz v 7.0.4 and here everything works as expected. The corresponding URL with the form is https://dillhausen-unserdorf.de/opt-in/

Of course, I have deleted all browser data including cookies before starting the tests. Tested with Google Chrome Version 124.0.6367.63

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @dillhausen,

Could you test the behavior in a fresh Incognito/Private Browsing window of your browser? I have visited the attached URL as well, and the content appears to be correctly blocked prior to consent (screenshot).

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @jarnovos,

I always test with incognito windows (i.e. not logged in users), and I always delete all browser data before starting the tests. But after your request, I did the test again and I do indeed get different results between a fresh profile with DNT (form blocked) and a profile I used earlier with DNT and all browser data deleted (form not blocked). I do not understand the difference, since both are incognito browser windows with the same settings … can you help me understand the difference?

    Thanks
