    Dear Complianz support team,

The consent banner appears on my site but it does not appear according to the settings that I have made in the plugin. The preview in the plugin shows the banner correctly but on my site it shows both a button for “view preferences” and “save preferences” at the same time and the font color is white instead of black.

What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed? I have tried to turn off all other plugins but it had no effect on the consent banner.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hello @sandraoest,

    Thank you for reaching out.

This is an interesting issue. Have you applied any site-wide/global CSS or custom CSS through the theme? Have you tried resetting the banner to see if returning it to its default state helps? This could also be due to caching when switching between banners, although the banner CSS file should update automatically.

If clearing the cache doesn’t resolve it, it may be a CSS conflict, possibly where theme styles are applying !important to buttons.

Let me know how it goes, looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi @antoiub,

Thanks a lot for your quick response.

I removed all CSS from my page, cleared cache and reset the banner but the problem unfortunately still persist.

    Best,
    Sandra
