    hy,

i want to use the cmplz-consent-area shortcode to display some content depending on the opt-in to the statistics category.

it looks like this shortcode works fine for the marketing-category but not for the statistics-category.

    [cmplz-consent-area category="statistics" text="please accept statistics cookies."]
    my content
    [/cmplz-consent-area]

i tried it in two completely different installations. everywhere the same. it leads to a redirect loop when only statistics is accepted in the banner.

i hope you can understand my problem and fix this ??

    matt

    hy,
thank you for your quick solution. it looks good so far, with one small issue: when disabling “statistics” while being on a page with that shortcode, the page is not reloaded immediately. after reloading manually the code is blocked again.

can you already tell when the version with this fix included will be released in the stable channel via repository?

    Hi @matthiaswagner,

Thank you for your confirmation, this addition has been included in our testing routines and will be included with a plugin update once confirmed; although I can’t guarantee that it will make the upcoming release.

As for your other comment, a reload is currently only applicable on Marketing revoke. I’ll relay it to the development team so that it may be considered for the Statistics category, although due to the combination of factors that have to be present in order for this to apply to the Statistics category as well, it seems a bit edge case; but if such behavior is desired in your case, you could also adjust this filter/MU Plugin to fit your needs.

    Kind regards, Jarno
