Connections Plugin format

I’ve downloaded the Connections plugin, and installed it on a custom theme. I noticed that the layout of the listings are way off. It seems like there are huge line-heights separating each entry. At first I thought it was my custom theme’s HTML/CSS, but I installed the plugin on a brand new WP install, and just used the Kubrick theme. The results were the same. Is it just me, am I missing something or is anyone else having these problems?
