    Hi!
Please consider this scenario that best describes my situation:

I activate Jetpack for the first time on my site, and create a wordpress.com account and connect Jetpack to that account. Everything works fine. After that, I deactivate Jetpack for some reason and then reactivate it. It starts asking again for connecting to wordpress.com. This is repeated each and every time I de-activate and re-activate it.

So, is it normal for Jetpack to ask for the wordpress.com credentials each time I de-activate and re-activate it?

Yes, that’s the expected behaviour. When you deactivate (or delete) the plugin, you break the connection between WordPress.com and your site. When you activate the plugin back, you’ll consequently need to make that connection again.
