connection timeout when connecting with smtp.zoho.com

    Hello,

    I’ll get connection timeout when connecting with smtp.zoho.com

    My settings:

    server: smtp.zoho.com
    port: 465
    use: SSL

    and username and password.

    Following message in the errorlog:

    PHP Warning: fgets(): SSL read operation timed out in /wp-content/plugins/cimy-swift-smtp/Swift/lib/classes/Swift/Transport/StreamBuffer.php on line 163

    On my local development machine the plugin works correct with same settings.

    I’am using the plugin on a siteground server, on this server i get the error displayed above. There are no firewall restrictions.

    The siteground support asks for:

    There might be additional server setting we can tweak. Please consult the issue with the developer of the script and specify it.

    Most probably your provider is blocking some ports and/or addressed.

    Put in the IP address instead of smtp.zoho.com
