    Hello all,

I hope you guys can help me diagnose and fix this problem I’m having. I’m getting a “connection timed out” and no emails are being sent through POSTMAN SMTP.

I’ve been using postman smtp for the past one year without any problem, however it’s been about two days since it stopped working with the error message: Connection timed out.

This is the diagnostic test message:

Please help me as I’ve tried everything I know of, and nothing seems to work!

I have been getting the same message.

We host multiple sites, across different hosting providers, and different email hosts. None of them are now working with SMTP!

The only way I can get them to work is by using the Gmail API but that means that the contact forms now come from a Gmail address which our clients are not happy about.

I know my comment isn’t very helpful to you but I would also like to know if there is a fix.

What fixed it for me was that my sender email (in step 2 of setup wizard) was different from my oAuth email. Making sure those emails were the same cleared the issue right up!
