The last few months I am very often getting the following error in my logs:

AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: RedisException: Connection timed out

It also seems like my database has grown from +- 120mb to +- 430mb.
I can not figure out why this is happening. Placing an order via WooCommerce seems to have slowed down, for example.

Everything is updated to the latest version.

Connection timed out usually mean that Redis Server is either not running or overwhelmed with connections. Try monitoring the process and increasing connection counts.

@tillkruess thank you for your fast reply. How would I monitor the process and increase the connections? Is that something I need to ask my hosts’ help for?
Sorry I’m not too familiar with these things ??

Yes, asking your hosting provider is a great idea.
