• Getting intermittent Connection timed out errors when sending order emails from WooCommerce. Post SMTP log reports “Connection timed out” and PHP log reports:

    ERROR PostmanWpMail: Exception code=0 message=Connection timed out

    Resending the failed message manually normally works after a couple of tries (additional timeouts sometimes occur first).

    Web host is hostinger. Sending to smtp.hostinger.com port 587 using a hostinger from address ([email protected]).

    I see the Settings/Account screen notes “This address, like the return address printed on an envelope, identifies the account owner to the SMTP server. For reliable delivery, this domain must specify an SPF record permitting the use of the SMTP server named above.”

    mail-tester.com shows the SPF record is set to “v=spf1 include:_spf.mail.hostinger.com ~all”… could that be the issue? Does need to include smtp.hostinger.com or moteck.com.au?
