Connection tab disappears: Extend existing taxonomy also for posts?

Hi there,
I am using this theme here which comes with “Add custom taxonomies” functionality.
https://themeforest.net/item/mylisting-directory-listing-wordpress-theme/20593226I want to connect the theme custom taxonomy with an existing taxonomy from pods to use data for listings. But if I try to extend the current taxonomy the “Connection tab” where I can choose “posts” will disappear.
