Connection Set-Up Failure

    Hi, I am having a issue with setting up a connection between my Dynamics 365 Integration plug-in and my Dynamics 365 CRM. I have used two different log-ons, one with a system admin access level and one that is primarily meant for sales and marketing support. Both should have sufficient access. With the support account I have created an app password that should allow for any conditional restrictions to be resolved. I’m including the error log for both types of sign-ins below this. I’ve been working at this and troubleshooting it for over week and would love to get it resolved.

    Hi @aubreybowman

    The login fails because there is a conditional access rule attached to your Azure Active Directory. We don’t have enough information to tell you what it is but your IT support should be able to look in the logs to see why the login is being denied.

    One of the reasons could be if legacy protocols are blocked. Unfortunately we have to use the approach where mfa is not possible. If that’s blocked then login would be denied.

    Can you find out why the login is being blocked?

    Looks like we, as a Microsoft Partner, do not have access to the legacy protocols and therefore don’t have access to this plug-in. Thank you for your help!

    Hi Aubrey

    the exception can be easily added either per non-interactive user or per IP address of the website. We have other partners who’s successfully done that.

    If that’s not possible then stay tuned for the next generation of this plugin due to be released shortly.
