• We just started having an issue with one of our authors on our blog, snowbrains.com. when they tried to edit/preview/update a post they would get the error saying connection reset by server. A minute or so later the site comes back, but they still couldn’t edit their posts.

I logged in under my user name (with administrator privileges) and tried to edit the post as well, but I received the same error. Now all the old posts that have been edited by me also give the same error.

However, if I edit other author’s posts I receive no error, and things seem to work as normal.

I’ve read online other people have had this issue either with huge sites (9000+ pages) but ours is relatively small at this point, with 928 posts and only a handful of pages. Any guesses how to fix?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Who are you using for your hosting?

GoDaddy, but it seems to be non host related. For the minute or so that the connection is lost I can load the home page of the site from my phone using the cellular network (on a different ip) fine, but nothing loads on my desktop machine.

Hmmm, having the same issue with my posts and looking for answers. Symptoms are the same, refresh every second for about a minute and site returns. I tried editing another user’s post as you mentioned, thought you might be onto something, but the connection reset on the first try. :-O Oh well. Another poster says it happening on his Dreamweaver host.
